Thank you for this video. You are teaching the valuable lesson of living in the moment. I grew up in the 1940’s after the war.We had rationing and our lives were simple. We were never aware of not having many things others may have had. Some family members had small farms that gave us experiences and our father grew our vegetables and raised hens and ducks. Our toys at Christmas were either made by him or our mother recycled toys from the year before. It was in family gatherings and contact that we were in rich in. You have given me the gift of remembering as I watch your children so happy with their Christmas gifts and the wonder they have with lights and the snow outside. Thanks for sharing your journey with us, you have accomplished so much in a short space of time. When I get overwhelmed with the enormity of a task ahead of me, I remind myself to just do the next right thing that is within my control and it's usually a small little task. It usually calms the overwhelm and puts me on a path of little steps that build further momentum. Keep up the good work! Wishing you and your loved ones a blessed Christmas. It is a large undertaking to restore an old house but if anyone can do it you are the man who can... One project at a time. It is truly nice when you can walk from your house and into a beautiful walk.
